Fair & Equitable Education
There are a myriad of inspiring and free outside-of-the-classroom programs that only reach socioeconomically challenged students with deeply engaged families. Transportation, financial disclosures, and mandatory physician reports at these programs impose a chasm that only the most involved parents can cross. Laxmi Learn’s goal is to support our amazing Title I public school teachers where true educational equity is possible: inside the classroom. What We do
At Laxmi Learn, we are dedicated to empowering underserved Title I school systems and closing the socioeconomic education gap. Each teacher project is designed to ignite inspiration and spark the powerful, life altering, realization in students: "I can do this!" Who We Are
My name is Keira Laxmi Patel and I am the founder / CEO of a quantitative investment fund [371x2], and the founder / CEO of this nonprofit organization, Laxmi Learn. My ability to create a successful business is 100% attributable to my amazing teachers. It was their passion, and their access to resources, that opened up a world where I felt, with hard work, I could code and count without a ceiling on the limits of my ability. My fund dedicates 50% of realized profits to educational non-profits with the bulk utilized here at Laxmi Learn.
Transparency & Efficiency

Autonomy
Laxmi Learn is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation in good standing with both state and federal charity registrations. As a foundation, we do not accept any outside donations. 100% of all funds used to support our initiatives come from me, Keira Patel, via the realized gains of my quant fund [371x2]. The current educational environment is showing the same divide that every important element of our society is challenged by. Without the need for outside donation, Laxmi Learn is free to support teacher projects that include authors, manufacturers, and themes not everyone agrees with. We pass no judgement in either direction of the educational divide. Laxmi Learn supports passionate educators in what they think is best for their students. We simply feel that an empowered teacher bolstered with their wish-list resources can and will create the “I can do this” spark in their students.
Disclosure
Laxmi Learn is a non-profit entity that is fully funded by the realized gains of my quantitative investment fund [371x2]. The quantitative algorithm does two things that are important to note. First, a component of the model scrapes relevant data from social media platforms and analyzes it for certain consumer behavior trends. Second, the quantitative algorithm does not avoid companies of any nature. Meaning, profit can be ascertained from buying and selling equity in companies that possess products, services, or management that do not align with everyone’s values. The model does not pass judgement on good/bad industries or good/bad management practices.
